The TCU Horned Frogs (4-6; 2-5 Big 12) will host the Baylor Bears (3-7; 2-5 Big 12) on Saturday at 2:30 PM from Fort Worth’s Amon G. Carter Stadium and broadcast on ESPN+. It is the 119th meeting between the rivals, making it the most played match up in Texas and will a be a protected game to be played every season going forward in the new Big 12. The student governments of TCU & Baylor have declared the game the Bluebonnet Battle and creating a new trophy that will be up for grabs on Saturday. TCU has won the last three meetings between the bitter foes and has won seven of the last eight, with the only loss being a 2019 overtime (Max was in).
It is Senior Day for the Horned Frogs, representing the last game in The Carter for some of TCU’s most celebrated players. Among that senior group will be placekicker Griffin Kell, the hero of 2022’s game in Waco with his made field goal as time expired to keep TCU’s dream season alive.
Can TCU keep its bowl hopes alive and win a fourth straight over the Bears to lift the first ever Bluebonnet shield? Join the conversation in the comment section below as we ride the game day rollercoaster together. Go Frogs!
