TCU football capped off a momentous Monday with another commitment from a 2024 prospect. After flipping three-star safety Kaden McFadden from Duke, the Horned Frogs locked in another commitment from three-star offensive lineman Samir Camacho-Hurtado. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder from Houston, Texas becomes the 22nd overall recruit in the 2024 class for the Horned Frogs, who also added two transfers on Monday including Notre Dame wide receiver Braylon James and San Diego State offensive lineman Cade Bennett.
Camacho-Hurtado held offers from several programs including Mississippi State, Duke, Maryland, UTSA and more. The three-star offensive lineman ranks as the No. 90 offensive line prospect nationally and a top-200 recruit in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports. Camacho-Hurtado also becomes the sixth offensive lineman to join the 2024 class for TCU, following Tobias Steppes, Creece Brister, Wesley Harvey, Mitch Hodnett and Ryan Hughes.
