TCU safety Mark Perry will represent the Horned Frogs during the 2024 Shrine Bowl, which features some of the most talented senior athletes from across the college football landscape. Perry was one of four TCU athletes invited to participate in the Shrine Bowl, joining tight end Jared Wiley, cornerback Josh Newton and offensive lineman Brandon Coleman, who will all compete in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Perry spent two seasons with the Horned Frogs and was an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention during the 2023 season.

Perry transferred to the Horned Frogs after beginning his career at Colorado, where he appeared in 26 games before leaving the program and signing with TCU. The Rancho Cucamonga, California native finished second on the team with 84 tackles during the 2022 season, helping TCU finish 13-2 overall and reach the College Football Playoff National Championship game. Perry appeared in 27 games with 26 starts over the last two seasons, compiling 142 total tackles along with 9.5 tackles for loss and six passes defensed.
