TCU football added another talented defensive back to the 2024 high school class on Sunday afternoon, with three-star safety and Wyoming commit Devyn Hidrogo flipping to the Horned Frogs. Hidrogo revealed his decision in a pair of social media posts. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder from Franklin, Texas will stay in his home state and join a 2024 high school class that features safety Kaden McFadden, who recently flipped to TCU from Duke.

Hidrogo becomes the 22nd member of the 2024 high school class for the Horned Frogs, who recently lost a commitment from three-star JUCO linebacker Kaden McMahan. Hidrogo is the third safety to commit to the Horned Frogs in the 2024 high school class, which also includes McFadden as well as three-star JUCO safety Ja’ir Smith. Hidrogo ranks as the No. 88 safety in the nation and a top-150 player in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports.
