TCU football has now added more athletes through the transfer portal this offseason than it did all of the last offseason. The Horned Frogs secured their 14th commitment of this cycle on Wednesday, with former California linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr announcing his decision in a social media post. Elarms-Orr appeared in 11 games and totaled 87 tackles, six passes defensed and one sack during the 2023 season. The redshirt sophomore spent three years with the Golden Bears, redshirting in 2021 before appearing in nine games in 2022.

Elarms-Orr becomes the second linebacker added from the transfer portal this offseason, joining former San Diego State athlete Cooper McDonald. A 6-foot-2, 220-pound inside linebacker from Hayward, California, Elarms-Orr is the sixth defender added through the transfer portal this offseason by the Horned Frogs, who have recent commitments from Tulsa safety Jaise Oliver as well as Cal Poly cornerback Donovan Saunders, Tulane EDGE rusher Devean Deal and Notre Dame defensive lineman Nana Osafo-Mensah.
