TCU Football secures 34 signatures; Men’s Basketball in the Diamond Head Classic; Women’s Basketball finishes an undefeated non-conference slate

Happy Holidays y’all!

Wednesday marked the opening of the Early Signing Period for College Football and TCU locked up a terrific crop of new additions, securing the National Letter of Intent signature from 34 players: 13 inbound transfers and 20 high school/JUCO prospects. 21 of the new additions will be arriving in Fort Worth in January as early enrollees. The group ranks as the #4 transfer class nationally and #29 overall for combined transfer and prospects, per 247Sports.

Men’s Basketball is in Honolulu for the Diamond Head Classic tournament, and will be battling the hometown Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in the third-place game on Christmas Eve after a dominant victory over Old Dominion followed by an ugly loss at the hands of Nevada Wolfpack. The Horned Frogs sit at 9-2 with two more games ahead of the Big 12 opener at Allen Fieldhouse vs. the Kansas Jayhawks.

Women’s Basketball completes a historic open to the Mark Campbell debut season as head coach, completing an undefeated non-conference schedule for the first time in program history. TCU earned run-away wins over Omaha and Mount Saint Mary’s this week to move to 13-0 ahead of the Big 12 opener vs. the BYU Cougars on December 30 from Schollmaier Arena.
