The TCU volleyball team added a talented outside hitter to the roster on Friday, finalizing a signing with former Oregon standout Becca Kelley. The 6-foot-3 outside hitter spent one season at Oregon, but did not see any game action during the 2023 campaign. A native of Rockwall, Texas, Kelley will return to her home state and look to take on a larger role with the TCU front line, which will lose two-time All-Big 12 honoree Audrey Nalls as well as Julia Adams and Taylor Raiola. TCU has reached the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons.
Kelley competed with the U19 Girls National Team and was a gold medalist at the 2023 FIVA U19 World Championships. She was also named the USA Volleyball All-Star Championship Division MVP. As a high-schooler, Kelley was named to the 2022 TGCA 6A All-State Team and eclipsed 500 kills for her career. As a senior, Kelley earned AVCA First Team High School All-American honors as well as Junior Volleyball Association All-American honors.
