TCU football made waves in the transfer portal on Saturday, securing three more players for the 2024 roster including former New Mexico State defensive back Andre Seldon. Seldon is a cornerback who was a four-star prospect in high school and began his collegiate career at Michigan, where he spent two seasons before transferring to the Aggies. Seldon became a regular contributor at New Mexico State, appearing in 28 games over the last two seasons and recording 96 total tackles as well as 13 passes defensed during that time span.

Seldon’s career with the Aggies included 4.5 tackles for loss as well as two interceptions and one blocked kick. The 5-foot-9, 190-pounder from Belleville, Michigan was a redshirt sophomore during the 2023 season and will arrive in Fort Worth looking to compete for a starting cornerback spot next season. TCU lost starting cornerback Josh Newton, who has declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. The Horned Frogs also lost several cornerbacks including veterans Ish Burdine, Jaionte McMillan and Mason White, who all entered the transfer portal.
