The DT will not be back for his senior year

Jerome Miron-US PRESSWIRE

The offseason is not a friend to TCU fans and the news of Jon Lewis leaving the team prior to his senior year doesn't alleviate this all-too-familiar feeling. Lewis finished with the 2013 with 39 tackles, 11 of which being TFL, and 4.5 sacks.

Considering Lewis will still be enrolled next year, it's likely that Lewis is just sick of football. As a result, expect both Tevin Lawson and Terrell Lathan to step up big in 2014.

The last two offseasons have been nightmares, and they're not even worth recapping. Let's just hope this is as bad as it gets.
