Gary Patterson, the long leader of the TCU Horned Frogs, has been named to the watch list for the Dodd Trophy, awarded annually to "the head coach of a team who enjoys success on the gridiron, while also stressing the importance of scholarship, leadership and integrity – the three pillars of legendary coach Bobby Dodd’s coaching philosophy." Patterson has already won the award once, in 2009. Three other Big 12 coaches are named to the watch list: Lincoln Riley of Oklahoma, Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State, and Tom Herman of Texas. Let's hope the Horned Frogs have the kind of season that vaults him to the top of the list and helps him bring it home for a second time!

Big Monday is a traditionally great day of college basketball. This year TCU is hosting West Virginia on the college basketball holiday, coming up on January 22nd at 8pm at the Scholly. Jamie Dixon is seen in the video imploring the cheer squad, band, student section and Super Frog to show up and be as loud as they can possibly be. That goes for everyone. TCU's next home game is a huge one. See you there.
Buffalo Bills fans are making donations to Andy and Jordan Dalton's foundation, after a Bengals win over Baltimore helped get the Bills in the playoffs. Dalton and the Bengals converted a 4th and 12 to score the game-winning touchdown with 44 seconds left in the game. Of course, Dalton's former teammate at TCU, Jerry Hughes, is a key member of Buffalo's defense, and he had something to say to Andy after the fact. You too can donate to Andy and Jordan's Foundation, right here.
