The bats were on fire Friday night in the TCU-USC series opener -- well, toward the end of the game anyway. The Frogs led by a slim 4-3 in the seventh inning, prompting some fans to call for insurance runs.
Josh Watson and Elliott Barzilli answered the phone.
Watson and Barzilli's back-to-back home runs in the eighth inning brought insurance and then some. The Frogs scored two more runs after that and won the game 8-3.
